name problems

hi, i got my name to show up in quake, but when i go in game it shows up" UnnamedPlayer +" why does this happen?

name problems

ur question is a bit lets say, weird.
anyways a way that works for 99% (if not 100%) of players is this.
go tu ur excessiveplus folder
create there a cfg called name.cfg
write in the cfg:
name "myname"
then save and close (the name has to be written with all signs^3 etc and at start and end of it must be " )

....and ingame go to console and write /exec name.cfg
