Hi. need help Happy

on satruday I formated my HDD and reinstalled windows...
Yesterday tryed to play q3, but all mouse settings changed... earlie i used sensitivity 15 and accel 0.3. now its inposible to play, looks like sensitivity is 50 and accel 5...
Decreased it to sensitivity 6 and accel 0.1, now it is smth like it was before, but not same...

How it can be? Q3 i used old one, was made a copy...

Mouse G5, setpoint and firmware same like it was before..

m_pitch and m_yaw are same, changed nothing...

im using, same q3, same cfg, only reinstalled windows...Happy

I don't know what settings good mouses have but maybe sensitivity from windows is different.

I had a similar problem, I just had to adjust till it felt right, its a pain,
did you have the setpoint installed as well as mouseware ?

U must remmeber mouse sensivity is not only in q3 but in setpoint too.

Oke small tutorial how set sens in setpoint.

A. SCREEN
1. Unmark 'Game Detaction' like in screen in point 1
2. Mark in 'Speed and Acceleration' option 'SetPoint Implementation' like in point 2. in screen
3. Click on 'Adrevced Game Setting'

B. SCREEN
1. Click few times on Button in ur mouse with symbol '+' (button for change mouse dpi to higher value)
2. Unmark dpi setting in point 5. and 3. and in 1. positon choose 2000 dpi if u have g5, for mx518 1600 dpi
3. back to normall settings.

C. SCREEN
1. Change option in 'Pointer Acceleration' to 'off' like in 2. point in screen
2. Now sett ur sens in windows u can set it in 'Pointer Speed' its 1. point in screen

D. SCREEN
1. Unbind button for change dpi '+' and '-' like in screen

I had same problem, try to change your implementation from one value to another (from windows to setpoint or otherwise)...change enter game...change enter game...It solved my problem, however i did have to change the windows sensitivity.

Thanks Flex, yes the reason was in Setpoint settings:)

there is one problem with that, couse our web account hit whole badwich limit in two weaks if we host all files as before

done - screens work again.
