i thought u whined about your table.. if its nescessary or not is up to you.
My table has a bad surface for the mouse so I need it anyhow. And it also depends on what kind of mouse you have, MX should work fine with a good table Winking

if you have this mouse on the pic im not sure if u need a mousemat or not

yeah i thought the mx518 was expensive, so i opted for mx510, you can still get it online and its very cheap, alot of players still use this mouse, i know me, deex and saint do. its really damn good and you can tweak it to 500hz, wont loose movement and on a goo mat its just as good as anything to me

in response to my earlier whine about mouse mats i now have the func 1030 yay Cool

I know i'm probably going to be the only one who says this, but i prefer the old ball style mouse for playing games;

I've found it to be more accurate and doesn't jump if you move too fast (i used a led mouse and when i move quickly to turn left i end up looking at my feet!!!)

As long as the thing is kept clean i have no probs with it Big grin

well only laser mouse i know is logi mx1000 and there is no fu***ing way it loses track on fasr moves ;] all other optics are based on led's

also i agree that a cheap opti can have this prob,

iif u buy optic for 50 pln id preffer to buy a ball mouse, atleast i wont have problems with screwing/flying/or whatever croshair in q3 Big grin

i have mx1000 and there is no such problem, it is a great mouse and i realy like it, it is nice to hand and works on everything without mat maybe in very fast moves it does not work propely but i dont feal that while playing.
but there is 1 problem wich is that the left-fire button stop working sometimes so i got now a 3rd mx1000, if u buy 1 remember to have the guarantee heh

ahhh well then your right dont buy a cheap optical mouse they loose movement, but im sorry not all optical mice loose movement, my mx510 which is running at 500hz has never onc lost movement, unlike the mouse i had before where any quick ove would result in crazy screen movment,DONT BUY A LOGITEC CLICK FOR GAMING lol

@dark

genius netscroll eye
A4-TECH SWOP-80
ive had those and both sux ;]
