and @ Lakitu, so who layed the first egg? did any dinosaur suddenly decide "hey i dont like to have babies that look like a mini-me, i rather put them in a shell"

Yes, exactly!
No jk, what I meant was that the animals and dinosaures changed themself more and more just like the monkey which became the human. Well, at least that's what I think and I find it pretty logical too. Winking

Actually, imo, the universe is like a mobius strip.

If you go in one direction long enough, you will be back where you started.

So basically it is finite and infinite at the same time.

I think foksie is a pretty cool guy, eh tries to be intelligent and doesnt afraid of anything.
Big grin

srsly guys, i think you should all accept the fact that we were created by god, the way we are

I don't believe that Darwinism crap as logical as it might look. Fuck that, I didnt evolve from a monkey. I prefer God to smelly monkeys.

It's exactly what it's like.
Think about gravity, basically it's a point located in the center of the object (a certain origin which is defined by the object's physical shape and material). If there was a perfect planet in space (like earth, except constructed from only one material and shaped perfect ball) and you build a straight "board" that will go around the planet it will end up where it started. The universe has to have a point too, a center (not sure if it has anything to do with gravity). If you start going directly to right from the center origin point you will end up were you started (when you move you immediatly start turning a little back towards the origin).

Another theory could be a void that is not exactly anything, just infite space containing the universe. Impossible in a way though, since nothing really can be infite (unless it doesn't construct from any material).

And by the way, yes, there is a god. The existence of anything already proves it since nothing wouldn't exist if something didn't create it. Think about it for a minute, there just has to be something unnatural so there would be something natural. Yeah it's hard to prove. I for a long time didn't believe in a god but stuff happened to me that made me know there is one.

So how aboute the other gods that exist in the world? Buddha, allah, hare krishna? Are they a part of god too?

I dont belive in god.

Or let me put it this way:

You have a pile of shit somewhere in the ground.
Ask person one who stands next to it what shape it have. He would answer it have the shape of a pyramid.

Ask person two who stands a bit above and ask him what shape this pile have. His answer should be: the shape is round

Ooh so now we have 2 different point of view from just one pile of shit?
What shape does it really have?

You cant prove god exist. I mean from your point of view you are convinced that god exist

From another persons viewpoint who belive in something else your viewpoint makes no sense. He belive in a god that make sens to him. For him god is a pumpkin pie.

But we are still talking aboute the same pile of shit i think religion is.
God exist bcos you created him. Not the other way.

What existed before the birth of universe have to be energy. Im not into physics.. hmm But you have mass, apply nature forces to it, apply space, and finally apply time. So now its the waiting game. In aboute 10 billion year, the mass have evolved to something that could be a pile of shit. Another 10 billion year you have a lifeform that worshiping the holy pile of shit. And probably one of these lifeforms someway see's the pile from a higher ground and make another god out of his experince. So there will be consequences til they finally find out that ooh.. it was only a pile of shit.

You know when its psyen (:

One thing people often forget to take into consideration is the passage of time. It's not unusual for us to forget, because we have such short lives as compared to the timespan of, say, a planet, or a solar system, or a galaxy, or a star. Winking

And btw, Darwinism is often reduced in pop-sci articles to "the theory that humans originated from apes", but it's really not that simple: this is an over-generalization created over the last century and a half that has done more to damage Darwin's theory than to help it, in my eyes. The original theory of the evolution of species says more about the many finite points of origin for each individual trait a species may have and then eventually discard during the course of its existence - or oppositionally, traits it may have and then develop further to more efficiently aid its survival.

That's what Darwin's "Origin of the Species" was really about, not the generalized statement that 'people came from apes'.

Anyone interested in the subject should definitely look for Freeman Dyson's From Eros To Gaia, John Maddox's What Remains To Be Discovered, and anything by Stephen Hawking as a good beginning point to understand exactly what's been said about our origins, what is likely and what is not likely, and most of all to begin asking the right questions leading towards the answers that will make the most sense; e.g., there is no definitive answer, just a series of questions that answers more important and eliminative speculations about ourselves and the planet on which we live, the solar system it's part of, and the whole microcosm vs. macrocosm statement of existence in this universe.

God is all you cant explain!

i dont really believe in god, because he is no explanation for this. anyone must have created god, too.

in my opinion its more realistic that we live in a matrix created by aliens than god created us Big grin
