How about making a locked topic with all cheaters been caught with all there aliases locations and why they where caught cheating.
ok an about pb no problems does what its supposed to will play any clan with it on..
Pure:
1. lags
2. kicks for no reason
3. why have it if you got pb?
4. i bet if you switch pure on a public server lots will be kicked for no reason
i had a problem with pure while back wax will tell you..
he switched on no problems for me but one of my memebrs got kicked.
so i gave him my pk files then he switched pure on then i got kicked and my other member didnt...

1. bullshit > if files that u have in ur baseq3/eplus ect folder are unpure, u wont join server at all.. so how can it lag?
2. sometimes. kicks for some maps, ect
3. coz pb is faulty, and cant detect some cheats
4. pure on cw and pure on public is 2 diff cases, which cant be compared..
cw=yes to pb+pure public=depends from admin

pure server definition

you wont get kicked if its a pure server, you will only use thoose pk3s that are on the server, so you dont see your custom gun model and stuff like that, that is to prevent pk3 based cheats

oh an thx for the cheaters faith but i think what we need here is a new topic opend with every cheater been caught so ppl know to look out for them.
maybe you could include what type of cheat they used where they from
date caught what server..basically everthing we need to know about them.

I have been caught for cheating but I can assure u that I didn't. I had some commands on in my q3config.cfg. I have my own config Phyr3x.cfg. q3config.cfg is a default config that isn't locked! I don't know how this commands (u_glah, u_wah....) came to my q3config.cfg but they were there. I can assure u that those commands didn't worked. I have now reinstalled my q3 and I hope all this commands r away.....I hope that u don't see me as a cheater because everyone who has played with me now that I'm not a cheater.

People you all seem to discuss this with very strong opinion , but let me make this point :
it is more complicated than it seams....i have my q3 version from peer to peer..cant buy q3 in morroco ( so does lot of people on E+ )...
on the first one , i had a pak0.pk3 wich i found out to be in size...less the the original version. ( there were some sounds i didnt have ) .or at least lighter than a friend had. ( wich was also a ripped version )..so i asked a player to give it to me via msn....Evol.Kosy .
He did and it took us 6 or seven hours to download but i have now a 'better' pak0.pk3 file that contains most if not all sounds , footsteps etc....
Now , the point i want to make , is that...how can i compare if my q3 installation , matches perfectly the one of the original release , and of server , with all the files in it , if i cant buy the CD in my country.????
