ive just found this old release for q3 and dunno if it is pure or not. it changes menu style and changes sound effects.

I've tried it with "SV_PURE 1" in beer server and nothing happened. Server didn't kick me.

just read the damnit article about pure and ur question is answered, why the hell we write such stuff if noone uses it?

Which "damnit" article? Using "pure" as keyword in the search is pretty pointless. 353 result pages, since this word is contained in nearly every post about a CW.
