i use windows live messenger and can have it open many times but i think you need a patch to do that (msn plus) then you can have colored names and send sounds and much other stuff too

Windows messenger used to be ok till it became windows live messenger. Now it's 120mb of junk that u cannot get rid of. Think I'll go with Miranda thx all for there input.
