You are right. U have to put pak0a.pk3 in quake/excessiveplus folder. What's the problem? Happy

But, do you have xp-1.0.zip installed? Happy

First you need to check if files in the zips are all stored in the excessiveplus folder (I cannot remember at the moment and dont have those zips to check it for ya). If not, then you need to create excessiveplus subfolder under your q3 directory. Then you can extract all the files found in the zips into that excessiveplus folder. First you extract the 1.0 files and then you extract 1.01 files, overwritting the existing ones. Winking

Right click on the xp-1.0.zip
Select 'Extract to...'
Point to your Quake 3 folder e.g. C:\Games\Quake III Arena\
Click on extract

Do the same with xp-1.01-beta.zip
