nah, its just a continuation of the trend, not the start of it. nobody can play the same thing for 2 and a half years, without slowly getting fed up.
if e+ 1.06 or 1.07 was out by now (hell, even the damn 1.04), im sure most of KO members would be joining new clans now, to help them grow.

There was a question here where are the oldtimers? They got fed up, and went to new things...

Yeah rumors were around here for some time, so I am not shocked, what I feel is sadness...
Now, let someone tell Q3 is only stupid video game nothing more...

I was thinking what to write here since yesterday and when I saw ppl mentioning old days, I though it is pleasure to read it for me, so here you go.

We all know what to do to be best clan. What to play and how to do it. Unfortunately knowing this is only 1/3, rest is doing what should be done. KO is 3/3 of a clan. They were doing exactly what we all know thus they were the best clan for few years. This is something, not some lucky win, or 3 good games, we are talking here about owning for 4 years !

When I started E+ at the end of '04 KO players where owning already. I had ball logitech mouse for 3 eur back then, though I was using mice skatez at least I was specting them a lot. Not SWE guys or GENX, but KOs. It was pure pleasure to watch. That days 1vs1 server were occupied 24/7. You could always meet there HQ, Driv, Zyzio, Hard. I liked wathing Driv especially. He was complete player, great aim, perfect weapon movement, smart playing. I always knew he is better then HQ But being technically best, and being a winner is two different things. Some of you are old enough to remember Boris Becker, he was technically perfect but still he wasn't owning ATP list. Matches HQ vs Driv usually ended with HQ as a winner. Why? Because technic is not most important. Want to know what is? Search for thread named like "How to be a pro player" and read HQ's posts. This is his characteristic, as a player, for me.

Similar to Deky I never really wanted to be KO member, I would feel then like some kind of a winning joiner or something. Being a member of a clan that fights actively for 1st place, trains and thinks what to do better, that thrills me much more. But somehow I was on one training/tryout session. Playing against KO guys in this circumstances is best training you can have really. They play smart, think what to do, with time you adapt to this play style, you forget about aiming or moving, you just concentrate on thinking where enemy is and how to surprise him. After some time aiming comes automatically, you play just using instinct. It was really nice experience for me. Thx for that.

KO spirit? Yes there is one. A story will display it best.
Let's take, my fellow from n00b clan, Riku Once in the past, 1 or 2 years before, he tried to join KO. He wasn't successful though. For a couple of days he was whining on forums and crying he is gonna leave quake, good buy all and stuff After that he got a grip on himself and started to train. Few months passed and I saw his request for a tryout. I thought then, he is a tough guy. And of course this time it was a success. This is KO spirit in my eyes. Never gave up.

Ahh I could write for few pages more so I'd better stop here...

Now I go to Heat to ask if he wants to drink some...
