Same here. But i'm considering switching to 1mb, 256k is just too freaking slow. And this bandwidth limit is seriously getting on my nerves -.-'

i am from morroco :

i have 2.3 megas down / 256 kbps up : 30 Euros per month. bills are fix.

(always the same money to pay at the end of month , no matter how much i connect)

200/96kbps cable (link to the rest of the world) + 300/128 kbps innercity link,its separate bandwith,so I can for example use the outside 200/96 link to play quake or play some stream while at the same time downloading with 300kbps from someone who is in the same city as I.When it adds up its 500/224 which still sucks.Costs arround 25 euro per month,flat rate,with excellent ping (60-65 swedish,35-50 german servers)

Speed: 350/350 kbit
Ping: poland 7-30ms, german 30-60ms -screen with pings-
Cost: 10€ per mouth

I can download shit with full speed and play whitout lag/lost. Cuz game ports has higher priority than download and p2p.

Well, i live in Nicaragua ( central america ), this is a poor country and we do not have high tech like europe or US, so i have a contract of 512 kbps download and 128 kbps for upload, but they give me in real life 450 kbps for download and 90 kbps for upload ( a rip-off!! ), and i pay $50 for that. I think for having HARD.SWE connection i might pass like 25 years waiting. I waited 7 years to have internet connection because there wasn't CABLE or DSL here just dial-up ( pfffff ), since i was in high school. And now that i have this shitty connection i can kick some ass, but i still get kicked too Sad...i lag everywhere but i have to get used to it Winking....peace...
