How do I change the name of a bot on the server? Because I want to do, but I do not know where. Although this is probably pak0. Big grin Laughing out loud Tongue

You can use rcon addbot sarge 4 100 altname YourNewBotName.

So you end up with sarge who has a skill level of 4 and 100 % health, but the name you see in game is YourNewBotName

The actual botfiles are contained in pak0.pk3 in the baseq3 folder. You shouldn't edit those though. You can make your own bots using the botfiles structure as a template, then add your new bot to its own pk3 file, then save that in both baseq3 folder and excessiveplus folder. I have a sample of the lakerbot and an Evil bot i made years ago if you want a copy. Let me know...

not quite right Evil,

\rcon addbot xaero 5 blue 200 ^1Newname

to get this info in game just type \rcon addbot and console will show you the format

\addbot <botname> <skill level> <team colour> <ms delay> <alternative name>

NB: <ms delay> is cheat protected so it doesnt matter which variable is used, I think it always falls back to 200.
