Yesterday i tested another cfg, and i remember the mouse got really strange, it wasnt following and the mouse lagged. But when i changed cfg it got better.

BUT the problem is that the graphic in q3 has start lagging.
The fps is still stable at 125 but its not the same flow in the game. Before it was like this when pb was on server a long time ago, last time i havent feelt lag when pb is on.

I also remember i ran liveupdate to norton antivirus before this problem started.

After this ive format c, replaced cfg, reinstalled q3, tryed without norton.
Still bad.

Any changes in the servers? Pb update? Or whats going on ?

with old config it is ok again? if not, compare new with old config command or command, and look what is different on grafik-settings. can take some time, but in an hour u should be finished.

Do you have the same shit going on with the basic, default Q3 configuration? I'd start my troubleshooting from there. Move out all of your existing configs from the baseq3/e+ folders and see how it goes on the basic config.

Try to decrease your hardware acceleration by a step or two in your advanced screen settings tab.

Increase hunk/zone megs.

Wish i could help more, but that's all i can think off.

do you perhaps have some autoexec.cfg ? in case you dloaded some extra pk3, some authors have the unpleasant habbit of putting their cfgs into paks, for example maps.

do a search through any new pk3 for autoexec.cfg.

or simply put your cfg into a zip, rename the zip to something like zzzzzz.pk3

that way it will always load your cfg last, regardless of any extra stuff.

also did you try completely removing the baseq3 folder configs, and using only e+ configs?

(that way a new default cfg will be generated in baseq3)

try copying your e+ cfg to baseq3 as well.

dont know if any of this will help, but if all else fails, give it a try.

I wouldnt recommend this to my worst enemy.Cause I did that once, and very soon I got weird problems [like unable to load a certain map] and I needed to reinstall.Maybe I should mention that before that experiment quake was running for a year and a half and that was the first time I was forced to reinstall.
