forum search option [suggestion]

i just wanted to check out some old thread with 300 pages,and its damn boring to find what i need if it is not close to the first or last page.so i was wondering if there is posibility to make option where u could just type in the number of the wanted page in some box in order to go straight to that page?

you mean this:
URL?page=N, where N is number
or what?
e.g.:
http://www.excessiveplus.net/forums/thread/your-name-on-steam?page=1
opens 2nd page

I think he means if you search for a word or a phrase on the forum, you get a list of threads where was founded but clicking on it won't get you to the post that have it.. it gets you to the first page. It should at least get you to the page that contains the first post founded.

How it is now you have to manually search in the thread, page by page and some threads have more then a few pages.

ye,epsi understood what i wanted to ask Happy i think there should be some box in which you can specify the number of the page where is certain post u want to see,or even to divide pages in groups like 1-10 10-20 20-30 etc

I would also to propose something. if someone could do something like that? simply one click on some profile to see whether that person is online or offline on the home page. i will be glad Happy
