AFAIK, Any manufacturer doesn't recommend to use warm\hot water and any washing powder for mousepad washing!
After cleaning with washing powder mousepad might feel more rigid.

I never used that. Only cold water and sometimes tooth-brush : P

Best advice: Clean it from 'time to time' (every 2months\a month mb), do not wait until your mousepad will look like basket with garbage. Same with anything else ^_^

Here is mine razer goliathus. Didn't cleaned it a month alike or more. (I forgot when I've bought it...Maybe its 2-3years old )

i usaly never clean mine cuz i have no problem with dust on it xD
and my old mtw pad looks more horrible and still mices track on it

i just washed mine to get rid of coke on it

sometimes im just leaving sandwich on it cigs everybody knows [whos smokin ofc] and beer its happens:D

edit: and about laptops its same comfortable as pc if ur used to;] im playin on laptop since march and everything is okay
