i use xaero model/xp, colors 00000, cg_forcemodel 1

enemymodel tankjr/xp, colors 22222

i have a bug/issue when i join any freeze server my own model get set to tankjr/xp colors 00000.

sometimes it resolves after a minute, sometimes a lot longer, even after vid_restart, i am forced to this model.

anyone know if this is a bug? something to do with forcemodel? is it something i can resolve by changing my settings or do i have to put up with this?

Cg_deferplayers 0 should take care of it without the need to open the scoreboard, however you might experience fps hiccups whenever new players enter the game.

Ahh yes of course; deferplayers, I should have twigged to the connection.

Think i stick to 'tabbing' however, its easy enough to do.

One thing though, skull, you say models are latched, this is not marked as such in \cvarlist, it is referenced with U and A (L=latched) does this mean that the key shown in console is wrong/outdated?

Re: fixing own model.

the difference is that there is no model engine to restart Winking models are refreshed on scoreboard refresh.

latched is given out on stuff you need to restart something for mostly.
