I like Metal, but not Deathmetal or any other music where they growl instead of sing Most of those deathmetal bands play music i really like, I like the heavy downtuned overdistored guitars and the drums/bass but why skip the singning part and sound like you ate something bad?

Genres - all but electronic crap, soul/pop (like Britney and shit like that) and jazz
Favourite bands - Most of the 80's Hard rock/Metal bands

Right now I am listening mostly to the swedish metalband Dream Evil, they are just too funny + Accept, U.F.O, Judas, Maiden, some AC\DC, ZZ-top and well, just because I am hitting the studio in november I am listening to the crappy rehearsalroom demos my band made over and over to get them into my head

Extreme metal genres are my thing, both with "ate something bad" and clean vocals.

It would be hard for me to pick just a few favourite bands. My last.fm charts don't really reflect it that good as it would seem so either, i discover new bands every week.

But some bands i'm into lately: Ildjarn, Hate, Negură Bunget, The Axis of Perdition (this is some sick music, believe me), Arathorn, Nasum, Furia, Watain, Exordium, Behexen, Deathspell Omega, Manes, Besatt, Thyrfing, Farsot, Nagelfar..
