Alt+Tab is blocked specially just because its behavior is dependent from gfx vendor/drivers (ATI Catalyst bugs, to be clear) Use Ctrl+Esc hotkey as an alternative or in_minimize functionality
Also there is additional bind keys available: MENU, WINDOWS, SCROLLOCK

anyway quake3e (1.32e) works awesome
my teammate says even game feels a little smother (mouse).. (hmm)
if any off servers admins have questions about it (how to setup, or anything) - just freely ask ! its w.easy

will be good to make (ftp://ftp.excessiveplus.net/)baseq3 folder with symbol links pointing on .../maps. When public servers can redirect to e+ ftp.

rather use q3a.ath.cx as database 
anyways, this is how df-engine works:

max speed can be greater as mine connection (which is shown)
edit: also both dfengine and quake3e.exe have direct mouse input
ps: dont use cnq3.exe ever, it fucks up soundloudness and distance.

don't count on this FTP, cos its administrator is never here. you can see that there is a lot of maps on _incomming from looooooooooooong time.
instead you can use this ftp url : ftp://95.130.10.38/baseq3/
some servers already use
+ I have given upload account to many ppl, so server admins can add their own maps alone (like big boys) there without waiting on an _incomming folder for more than 6months.
If you need the upload account just pm me.
