Ok well this was done previously in pants.....

Basically everyone gets on a server (like a fragfest) but whoever comes bottom after each map must leave the server. In the end there will be one man/ women Big grin left standing. Now i have not got any maps sorted nethier server. But i can try to sort it if you anyone is interested in this.

Main problem is config. Altho rail is in alot of other cups i would preffer this without rail. Maybe the new e5 or the old one. I will call a vote for it. That is if there is any interest in this Winking
Need to know when is a reasonable date to host this Happy

cfg?
Maps?

for me old e5 cfg like 1.03 F1

for the new e5 like 1.04beta f2..

its nice idea....

i propose last man standing ospra3map1, good for many ppl and over showable Big grin

date should be, when we know we're going to have enough players wanting to participate
whats going to be the limit on players? we obviously dont want 40 people signing up, as this would take far too long to complete

so we definately need a limit - 18? (thats about 2 n a half hours i think)

server, as long as it can handle a fair few players (at least 30, including specs and participating players)

cfg, i'd say the new e6, as if the map is so big, there's really no need to switch (and we'd like a fair anticamp, but maybe the time should be decreased)

maps, well as long as they are big, then i'm sure people wont be fussy (like ospra3map1, or we can even have one specially made for this event! Big grin)

but if this happens, sign me up for sure

yo also date give 2 weeks to sign up 04.September 2009 ?

server: i can make one server to bring up this event.

maxclients:players 30 +1slot e+Tv+1spec =32 slots max..i can not handle more on my servers... Big grin

clear rules: if anybody dead go spec 60sec kick or so for examble

cfg:e5rbeta.cfg Big grin ok u dont want rail e5.cfg modificated without rail in old 1.03 switchtime or e5 railedition with one week switchtime u can make a poll for that.

maps:ospramap1 or i need to think about with kid for new map ...then u need for download a link here..aha or clanstrike map from pjax can handle 32 ppl..

erm, u slightly misunderstood Big grin
u can die, u have to come bottom of scoreboard, and u are made to goto spectators
if u dont come bottom, you can stay in game!
(i propose for the first 3/4 rounds, we have the BOTTOM 2 are made to go spec, to reduce time)

ok, we can have a vote on the cfgs, the votes can be:
e5-1.03/new-e5/e6
but i think rail in this cup, would simply attract e5r/plus players, rather than e5 (which is pretty much dead)

well maps, i'm not sure on whats big enough
ospra3map1 seems fine, and maybe we need some other big maps to go along with it, i'm sure kid has a large map already made?

and we can take a referee from the official referee's thread right? (if not i'm sure someone would like to come)

well if you come bottom you are meant to leave the server Winking. Can also help with lag maybe. Sure september time sounds good. I hope people will sign up to show there e5 skills Happy .

Cfg.. I do think the 1.03 e5 should be the cfg used. Higher scores ect.

Maps. We basically big maps. If kid can sort any out that would be great Big grin

Server .. Thx ! if you get one up for this would be nice Happy

I wil make a vote for the cfg Happy

So choose out of 1.03 excessive5 or 1.04 excessive5. Or even e6 Happy

how about, we make a mix of cfgs
we can have low switch 1.03-like e5
with less spread, and less damage with mg (like in e6)
and reduce splash of lg and/or bfg

Well i guess evil can hold the event on both of there servers. Ctf/ ffa

15 players on each server followed by a ref on each server also.

Looking to host the event on the 13th september (sunday)

Config will be the 1.03 e5 on the 1.04 beta5 version.

Maps are to still be done. Im not sure is kid is helping out Big grin.

Ok so sign up maybe Winking

15 minutes per round.

Last place player must leave the server.

Once it comes down to the last 8 on each server they will join on one server to fight it out to be the last man standing.
(edit evil ffa is 1.03) if anyone has a server we could use Happy
