i dont understand it, why u all have so big desktops when u dont use this place, its same like to wear the whole day an empty bag with u, sensless

If you mean by the big desktop the big resolution of the desktop, THEN it is very important to have a high resolution, because I don't use my big resolution for the desktop of course, haha, i use it to see more. To see more in Mozila Firefox for example, to see more in Flash, Photoshop and any other graphical program. It is also needed if you use Windows Commander, then you just see more directories at once and more files, so you don't need to scroll that often.

Well what do you use if you don't use icons? Do you like go to the explorer all the time or to the start manu to start any program? And why would you need your desktop if you don't have many icons on it, just to display a picture , anywayz there is just one thing left to be said, ICONS RULE, smaller ICONS RULE, MANY ICONS RULE, and big TFT's with big resolutions RULE, Logitech MOUSE"S RULE too

this is my desktop that i have hardly changed in about 3 years... the extra wallpaper on the right is made cos of the tv output... i played excessive plus on my tv once... 36inches of quake goodness
