hey!anyone knows how to increase download speed of q3?for examplewhen entering in a server and this begins to download a pack or a map.normally, the download speed is 5-10 KB/SEGD:is really slow...

yeah, use a different q3.exe, there are 2 alternatives, either the edawn one (quake3e.exe) or the defrag one (dfengine), first allows you to specify a ftp for example, while second uses defrag map base. (and is overall the most speedy renderer around.)
