This is not a flame thread so please don't lock it.
Myself, and DA would like to express my disappointment in the CMC cup and the way it has been arranged & modified all round. DA had experienced a lot of grief due to not posting demos (when they weren't in the rules in the 1st place)
And today, I see both Lemon and DRT played their games without a ref which is very disappointing to be honest.
How is this fair? Both wars are technically illegal...Though you happily let the game go ahead without a ref and will rank it anyway.
It's a matter of principle! How can clans feel like this is a neutral place when its CLEAR to all of us that rules are customised and ignored according to peoples own requirements..
Extremely Disappointing..

what rules were ignored? Oo we didnt have a ref and we both posted demos of both clans.
Last time you played 2s you didnt let taras record, everythng is seen when on one demo he begs you to invite him so he can record while i had to record my own clan. pfff
dont throw stones at others.

Like i said to any clan that asked, if a refree can not be found (which is quite common actually), one player from each clan has to record his clan.
As was done in all cases.
And if you reread the topic with DA, you will see i would have ranked it no matter what.

Basically U r saying that REF is not there to be neutral and watch all rules r obeyed?!
...U say his ONLY function there is to record mixed demo?!

if DA feel so deeply that i am a bad organizer, they are allowed to leave the cup, no hard actions will be done against them.
I understand that you joined the cup expecting everything to run smoothly, and i failed in that department. So no harm will happen to DA if they decide to leave the cup.

About last LEM-C4 match, demos will be posted. Few Lems recored, currently we are choosing best demo to post, best means the one that shows, more or less, all players.
About ref, I remember when this role was introduced to E+, main idea was to have neutral person on a server in case something goes wrong, or clans will have different view on one specific matter. Considering this, playing without a ref is a risk that both clans take. But since long-lasting clans are mostly wise and can get an agreement its no big deal to play without ref.
A rule is a rule, sure, but also circumstances matter, especially the ones that was present while making a rule.

So I guess rules were made for this CMC to be broken.
I remember when we denied demos on 1st round, there was so much flame about that and so many people mentioned fairness and principles and leaving the cup because of some far less things. And yet, everyone ignoring this now...like they all ignored Ash question why there was no ref (here)
Here R just some of the quotes that burned into my memory that I want to remind the rest of the people who so easily bend (brake) the rules when it suits them (link):

So many 2-faced statements from 2-faced people, judging others while doing same things and worse.
And that arrogance that is presented, blackmails, putting the sign "Refree: None" so obviously when it is clearly against the rules. Rules arranged by the same people who brake them - but judging by the not doing anything about this unjustice, they belive it is OK to brake the rules, as long as they do it and not other teams/clans.
So, tell me, are rules made to be broken, to stand there just for "show" or they have some function, to give order and fairness in all this chaos?!
And U really think this should be sweeped away under the rug just like that and that we should be OK with it?!

have you ever seen a cup on E+ yet where rules were hold 100%? 
so far I didnt... 
it is kinda impossible to know all the upcoming problems in front of a cup... there is a need to bend rules and allow minor stuff which is in fact against the rules. (see the round limits for instance)
as Vanguard said... it is up to the circumstances.
I dont think that even in CMC #10 there will be 100% super rules, no bending and no problems... even not if a "Beast" or "reno" are admins
the discribed issues here are definately "bending" and not "breaking" the rules!
imo foksie didnt have many choices to do different... then there would have been even more problems.
