Hello everybody!
Since I have started to play e+ I use a Panasonic Panasync s110i 21" CRT monitor (THIS ONE) at 120Hz refresh rate. I have tested the config with r_swapInterval 1 which makes my graphic excellent smooth - for me. Yesterdays' I turned off VSync and I got to learn a new way of gaming, I mean the game speed rised and by this I can move faster etc. but it makes so differency.
Now I got the time to buy a new monitor panel but I got no experiences about the TFT/LCD panels with e+. Couse the high FPS my worry is that the game speed would decrease with its' 60~75 Hz refresh rates. So please If anyone has got some experiences in the difference between playing with CRT to TFT write to me, that would be so helpful. I was thinking about DELL 21" ones or Samsung maybe - are they ok for gaming? Ciao!

np. general consensus here on forum is that CRT is still better for gaming, especially in a fast game like e+

Now I touch the proof about the monitor's problem. Well, I try-out an LCD' panel and if it will rape the in-game-experiments I still have a good chance to sell it; coz' has a muchmuch better marketability than CRT' ones. I have discussed the theme inside-out, from plus to minus. But I think I still have to be plus Tongue and take a chance to rise. Thx again for helping me all.

From today I have got an LCD display: CHECK THIS.
I have settled by 4:3 standard screen couse its resolution modes and the movieless usage of the computer, was my fully reliable reason. Apart from the fact that I have never seen the monitor in real life, 931C's design is less pure and nice for me than via 932BF' one. For my sorrow it (932BF) is closely unreachable from computer bizz, or hardware merchandisers...this was my an other subject to buy.
Well, the test has started, I have to get it really hurry couse tomorrws' cw
I will contact back with some experiments at all.

Well, some days in-play with this LCD panel makes me truly infofull to write about.
The first thing comed into my eyes was the excellent sharpness of the pixels and textures. I play with r_textureMode LINEAR without FSAA and ANF which helps my FPS. If I choose in the mointor's menu the sharpness to max value I can see the holy pixels join together, in a way when a pencil makes a point onto a clear sheet; so this provides the Anti-Alias for my eyes.
Secondary I should mention the difference of the movement. Well, I just see the real lags! This was a hardy-strange experience then I know the further "periheral" what I will update is the ADSL - rate Big grin Typically I got @50-@60 ms delays but how much it is, I just recognized.
The movement becomed smoother and I feel the sens more precisely, now I better touch the enemy's place in the virtual space.
I had to make totally different r_gamma and r_mapOverBright I used before, but I think it is normally. The texture bits and the color bits have to be now 32 couse I got sick with 16, I rly dunno how could I play before that way. Now the colors are more lifefull, which helps my eyes to be reactive after playing hours and hours.
Here I stay now, will refly with new details!
