Does someone know why is the crosshair in e+ much more transparent, and fuzzier then in,for example OSP? I noticed in other mods as well its much more opaque, sharper and thicker compared to e+. I have 2 screens here, maybe u will see what I'm talking about, even with the identical settings (cfg) as in OSP it doesnt help,is it something in e+ that makes it smaller and more transparent then in other mods? (I say smaller cause when u have the same value of crosshair size in both cfgs [osp and e+ for instance] the size is very much different in-game,as I hope u will be able to notice on the screens I posted.

i think it must be intentional by e+ to make this "effect" but imo the OSP crosshair looks better...simple and really the blurred crosshair is a bit pointless

nice spot Happy

with r_texturemode "gl_nearest_mipmap_nearest" the blur is removed.
but then its a square instead of a dot.

A bit late but change the cg_crosshairsize, that will solve the problem. I've noticed that the crosshair becomes fuzzy when its too small. Also try vid_restart when you change the crosshairsize. Else it will be all gray and stuff.

Why it becomes fuzzy is a good question tho. My best guess from the top of my head would be the AF setting @ gfx.

I don't have to be careful, I've got a gun.

Smorgar the crosshair size isnt the problem cause when u compare it with OSP like in the screen,u will see the difference on the identical cfg settings, including crosshair size.Read more carefully, btw the same problem arised with the new CPMA version,so no more nice thick crosshair in there as well.Ah well,we still have OSP and UF ;p

Aah sorry, my mistake. Thats a bit strange then. Ive noticed that the cross gets this fuzzy edges with some smaller crosshairsizes... strange...
