I would also like to make som points in this thread, and try to balance the thread a bit.

The popular myth about Bush being retarded, dumb, ignorant, foolish, and only being able to see issues in black and white is quite widespread.

But what is it really based on? Of course this has it's origin in the political oppostion portraying Bush as slightly backward. Is he really?
All this is based on his often clumsy televison appearances, but that has very little if nothing to do with intelligence.

Now cut the crap, please. There are several accounts by people close to Bush who infact point in the opposite direction, for those intrested in a balanced view point of course :roll:

one example more: he things that austria..where i live, it´s in europe, is in australia!
one example more: on 9/11 where bush was in a scool or kindergarden(dunno exactly), he sat on teacher chair, and the children read for him a child_story. mr. bush had also a book in hand, and yes he looked whole time in it..but, it was turn on 90 degrees, so everthing was turned on head...and he looked and looked and looked in this book..nothing..till the moment, where a agent (or bodyguard or police) come in, and whispers in his ear, that a boeing chrashed into the WTC_building!
..and yes..there are more examples.
