Computer help!

Have u tested the floppy on a different computer...is it showing files? If u done the hardware part properly,it should boot from the floppy with no problem.There is another solution,if u have another computer where u dl-ed win there is a guide on the net how to make a winxp boot cd with nero...pretty simple actually if u have a burner.

BTW u say u bought new components...can u state here what were your old components,and what was your power supply brand and wattage.If u bought some new strong components maybe your power supply isnt strong enough for it.Does your computer shows the POST screen when u turn it on at all,where it says the speed of your processor and amount of system RAM right after u turn on your computer?

well my powersupply is 360W..
the new parts are a gigabyte k8 triton motherboard, amd athlon64 venice 3200+ processsor and a leadtek geforce 6600 256MB pci-e graphics card..
im pretty sure that the power is enough to support this..
i will try to install windows by putting my HDD in another comp and installing it from there.. is that a good idea?
