Client/Server Mismatch

I've been away from Quake III for a while, I just downloaded the latest version of excessiveplus 2, but every time I try to go onto a server (I use Retro Tag and CTF) I get the following error:

CLIENT/SERVER MISMATCH
THIS CLIENT IS FOR EXCESSIVE PLUS

It's so frustrating, I don't know what to do, I have downloaded it but I just can't get on! Any help please? I miss Quake III...

rename/remove your e+ folder then reconnect to the server with autodownload on. welcome back skeletor?
