Why does it feel like i have cl_mouseaccel ON when its OFF ?

Ye, for example you can set mouseaccel in logitech's setpoint.

btw. check out how many cm you need to do 360 degre turn in slow mouse move and check it again with fast move. if you see difference then it is accelerated, if not you just get wrong feelings.

if you use windows, the operating system mouse settings affect in game play.

so first thing to do is uncheck 'enhance pointer precision' this is kinda like cl_mouseaccel for windows.

and if im not mistaken, purely an assumption, pointer speed in windows is factored by \sensitivity.

mess around with these settings until it feels right.

becuase you have in your cfg m_filter "1" ? and when u set it to "0" then you havent any problems Happy

google: "mouse accel fix for windows xx"
where "xx" stands for your windows version.
You should find some software which will
eliminate any of system mouse accel.

yep but doesnt work for win7, there is special edition for win 7 and its lil bit harder to make it work

unticking the "enhance pointer's precision" box worked for me on win7.
if you still have doubts and don't know if you have accel or not, try MouMvRec.exe.
