Imo, ctf is great mode for many online games..it is "classic"
I used to play ctf a lot when I started q3 online but I gave up couse it demands tactics and on public it is a bit difficult to do this. Plus,most of the times there were boosters on the game that they were ruining the fun 
e5 cft is better for ctf in my point of view cause of multijumps.
however,some ctf muches on q3ctf1 on pickup games with plus.cfg were really cool

Here are a couple of lines out of a so called ZoO Bible, where we gather CTF information.
CTF is a team-gametype in the first place. Even the best TDM players can’t win a single CTF game if they don’t cooperate. CTF is also about speed, speed to take the flag and run away, and speed to respond on a fast attack of the enemy and kill them before they leave the base with your flag. CTF stands for Capture The Flag, so all the attention should be focused on the flag and not on getting the most kills and the highest efficiency.
Would like to hear your oppinion on this, it's a general info about CTF, do you think it's correct like this? Or should there be added something else. To make answering a bit more exciting, best answer (imo) will be added to the bible and the winner will get the chance to get the bible himself (if he would want).
