"Server Disconnect - You have been kicked via PunkBuster (for 0 minutes) ... Restriction: Blocked O/S Privilages: 508 : 430"

I updated windows via windows auto-update and now I get this error when i try to connect to the NWC servers.. =\

have you a x64 windows version?
i have read thison other forum, its a prob with this windows version, and it is to be fixed on april 26th.

Yoy need to use an accuont with admin privileges on as windows admin or PB will kick you, so just go to user acounts on control panel and create a new account with admin rights or login as admin next time you boot.

I am logged in as admin when it happens.. that is the problem.. I dont' understand why I have to do the "Run As..." every single time I load the game.. that means that I can't run games through the eye. Instead I have to copy ip, run as q3, and paste ip in console Crying

now it isn't working no matter how i load the game.. windows is gay, and so is windows update!

no..

It I have yet to solve my problem on my machine with Windows XP Pro SP2 (with most current windows updates) lol..

I started using my wifes machine to play quake. She is getting irritated so I would love to figure out how to fix this prob.

IF anyone else has any information about it, let me know!

Just for the record, this problem didn't start until after i updated with windows update.

I am going to contact MS and see if they offer any type of support due to messing up my gaming with their gay updates. :roll:

It has to be something else than windows xp sp2, I have SP 2 and never had this problem we'll try fo find a solution and let you know.

still no luck.. it worked earlier when i tried on the NWC server.. I removed zonealarm, added UDP ports from punkbusters site and quake 3 to windows firewall.. then started quake.. worked great..

tried just now.. and it kicked me off =\

There is no info related to this on PB forums, the only info regarding this issue is related to 64bit os IE win xp 64, and EvenBalance guys claim they'll have a fix when that version of windows is officially released which should be in the next few days april 28 if I'm not mistaken, let's hope they fix this soon, if I find anything else I'll let you know.
