Can't exec a config?

Any ideas why it wount let me exec a config. Tryin to tweak a mrpants config and test it in single player mode.

"mrpants.cfg" was removed/renamed/tweaked in v1.0rc2

It is now excessive3.cfg (excessive2.cfg, excessive1.cfg are also available).

It is still in the conf folder when i installed it?

I edited it and tried to exec it and nothing, acting like it's not there?

Yo X Bro.
Delete excessiveplus folder, And Upload again.

Then configure your Server.cfg file. and later when you still on game. take this:

/rcon exec "conf/excessive3.cfg"

I'm on every day bro, get with me.

Also I'm confused about the whole config thing. Why would I exec a config I have not edited. It makes no sense, if the mrpants config is in the folder and I go in and edit that config why would it not exec in the game?
