Well in one hour im off to a paintball tournament.
Im filling in for one missing player, and i never played it. 
But, so help me god, if i hit someone in the head, ill jump right up and start yelling "Boom Headshot!"
Who knows, if i shoot in a corner i might actualy slide
Any quick tips from anyone who already played it?

Well, the tips wouldn't be all that special... Move from cover to cover and check the flanks like you were a paranoid deer, shoot and don't miss 
Anyways I guess you're already there, but I just had to write smth

yes, i have played it, i fill for what that guy up of me said you also when you shoot aim, when you run with the gun look under your feet because on the field are watermarkers, if you fall and that gun hits your vest it will hurt, if it hts the mask you may braake the plastic, mm, when you take cover if you are alone (withou teammates close by) sit in the hideout (like a tree) with the weapon infront of your chest and looking forward on the enemy or enemys, if you are with *normal* teammates then yuou can sit with your back (ONLY if they cover you ass) to the hideout. mmm.. erhm.. well, run fast... shoot good, and dont miss.. you'll like the game as it is good.

spamming can be good
and by the way its against rules to shoot someone closer than like 2 metres away

It wasnt so here today
two guys actualy were on the same cover and shooting at each other 
Anyway it was soooo fun, really easy to get addicted to
We started reaaally good, even though everyone in my team never played it before. we defeated the best team in the league, then we defeated the second best team in the league, and almost defeated the third best team (we didnt cause my tank went out of gas and well i got hit by 20 or so balls in response, boy that hurt)

unfortunatly then our third member had to go home cause she got really high temperature, her throat was sore.
the girl who came in as replacement was quite unlucky during next few rounds and got hit in her fingers 3 times, so she got scared to even shoot from cover, wich kindoff lowered our chances considerably.
we ended up last in the end, wich meant we get the last place prize: a case full of beer!!!
the videos of the fights should be online some time soon, so ill give you links when they show up
scene of the day:
we are playing against the second best team.
i go to right, one of my teammates takes the forward left position, and the second takes the forward.
the forward team mate gets shot, and she is out.
my left teammate manages to take their left out, i shoot on the right and then i take cover cause my stupid spider rifle gets jammed... again.
in the meanwhile my left teammate shoots the right guy too.
their center then takes out my teammate.
he slowly goes forward, and since im not doing anything, and im hidden so he cant see me, he assumes im out, and slowly takes the flag and starts to walk victoriously back, holding his marker up and all the other victorious crap (including dancing moves).
im all confused, look all over myself to see if im shot or wtf. i look at the judges and they say im ok. so i jump out of the cover and shoot the hell out of him.
hes like: "wtf are you doing, arent you out?" and i just take the flag and return it, and get theirs
of course, the audience is all on the floor, laughing their asses off
