Books
What kind of books your favorite? (i hope some of you reading
)
Mine: science fiction and fantasy ![]()
wokay. ill try to make this brief hehehehehe. reading is probably my most time consuming passion. mostly i read whatever i can get my hands on that appears not to be boring. but most of the stuff i read fall into a few genres. been reading a lot of fantasy this past year. fav authors in that genre being tolkien, robert jordan and raymond feist. also read a lot of military adventures, especially naval ones, especially allistair mclean. also a lot of adventure stuff mostly things like frederick forsyth. sci fi types altho crichton is the only author i find really good in that genre. a lot of comedy too. things like hitch hikers guide and pg wodehouse. and some math and philosophy. (yes there are math and philosophy fiction books hehe!). things like ayn rand.
I hate books, can't read :oops: ![]()
H.P. Lovecraft, Ambrose Pierce, Lord Dunsany & Arthur Machen are some of my favorite writers, but i must say I enjoy technical books too
like networking and linux books.
At the moment I'm reading Asimov's Foundation series. It's s-f but there is more fiction than science in it, which I'm glad of.
I like political fiction books, especially from Clancy, also adventure like Cussler books. But most time now steal from me books about .NET.
Asimov and Philip Dick are great, i just read "Das Parfum" of Patrick Süskind and it is very nice
I don't know if you guys know those things but I like to read a good old Warhammer 40,000 codex it's the only thing I can read without a brainache ![]()

Orwell, King, Straub, Brite, Nietzsche, Hatsumi, Goethe, Baudelaire, Huxley. Nothing at all very practical, mostly philosophy or poetry-based. Peter Straub is known for his fiction but is a closet poetry freak... and not a bad poet himself. ![]()
Goethe, Schiller, Poe, Orwell, Huxley, Stephenson, Pratchett, Adams, Leary, Nietzsche, Kant etc.
At the moment The Illuminatus Trilogy is waiting for me, but i'm somewhat lazy ![]()
Ah, Kant also. Somehow I'm not surprised we share so many literary interests. ![]()
