Hey, I am finally back.....after few months. I have adsl now ( 384 kbps down, 64 kbps up ).....And I just want to know which is the best setting for good ping.....those snaps 'n that stuff....Help!!! Big grin

snaps 100, cl_maxpackets 100, rate 25000 or 10000, cl_packetdup 1

Well none of these tweaks will result in better ping. In some cases your ping seems to have decreased by 10-15 on your lagometer, but they are not correct values.

Instead of this kinda useless actions, one may call their ISP and congatulate them for providing such a great service by which its possible to get a ping of 290 from a one-thousand-mile-away server, following more then 20 hops. I fucking like brite ppl.

yes, i also think so, ´cuz, what you can do is: nothing!
ok, maybe its better when you are not downloading or something like that...if your connection is good or not, has more to do with the time and if its overload and so on...you have a good connection or not....it´s not in your hand

and remember: adsl: 512 downloading and 128 uploading !!! in germany and austria...!! Winking

Well, you can do that too, but those settings are the best with good connection to make you feel smooth in the game and you will look to other players smooth too.
