So guys...
I open new topic, to stop offtopic in cw-thread...
What's the best e5 conf?
As I think it's the new Dawn of Doener Conf... Maybe someone can post a link to download it...
@mow: you said gl movement is based on splashdamage and not on knockback... how about the normal e5r, where gl damage is 0... it's also the normal gl-movement, i see no difference to e5.

E+ = BRO + E5 This is E+ forum, means forum for all E+. 
Before E5.cfg was here and on other forum, and partialy clans forums. So, with clan rank for E5.cfg, E5 guys back here fully which is uterly good 
Now, cannot mix E5 Clan Rank topics with other E5 stuff. This topic really belong here, and I dont see any problem with that. In oposite E5 Clan Rank subforum will become E5 forum for all stuff and that is pointless.

since E+ 1.03 you cant create a good switchtime like on pants v4 or old e5... 
the switchtime of the actual e5 just sux... only spam...
I set my hopes on E+ 1.04

but be in e5 dont like say spamer. I play in it and i think that i dont spam :oops:

e5 is good the problem is switchspam abuse by some players. The fast switch make the aim less important and make non experienced (with bad aim) players able to frag others more than with pants.
The e5r add the instakill rail to the switch so 1 more chance to frag others for noobs, that's why all e5r servers are full.
You slower the switch, you will have less new noobs, less new clan and more empty servers. Actually all new clan comes from e5r not from pants

the spammer thing is not meant bad... ENs also use the switchspam... its not the players fault... its the cfg...
switching kinda doubles your firerate... and that is spam

e5r really doesnt increase the switchspam... the firerate stays the same... if you switch sg-bfg-lg-sg or sg-bfg-lg-rg doesnt really matter...
and that the e5r servers are full got another reason ... the server admins can do a lot to increase the number of players on their server...
i.e. the new dmod e5r is not instarail (I think you need 3 hits) and still server is full...
oh and pants also got new players... but they mainly stay in pants then... ofcourse they have less new players... but thats because the amount of servers is also less...

once for all stop cut my posts into small peace and answering about something else than the general idea i'm stating like you do most of the time. I HAVE MY OWN OPINION AND I DO NOT SHARE YOUR. i can do same cauz i have time today just to show u the kind of waste posts u do :

Of course the max firerate stay the same but players switch more cauz they use rail before others weapons and without relaod time it becomes rg,bfg,sg,lg/mg instead of bfg,sg,lg cauz on e5r u can simply kill with the 1st rail shot.
1more weapon, 1 more switch so more switchspam for noobs so

nope it does. I play often on all e5r server and there is more switch that is fact.
Dmod server are already well known and little change to e5r config 2 shot insta rail kill instead of 1 won't change something.
I don't say neither config do all for bringing players when i wrote that, i just say it's a big reason why all new clan and new players come from e5r.

I have to agree with this. This was not a post meant to disrespect anyone or to say that e5 and bro are different communities. The fact remains that there are hardly any e5 people posting on this forum(ctf anyways)
If this topic would've been made a poll, i would bet on it that less than 10% of the people voting in the poll would actually play e5. Yes it's true that excessiveplus is the community and the e5 config is just a part of it, but it's pretty damn annoying that not everyone is on this forum.
(PS that is if "move it back" means moving it back to the e5 ranking)

I would vote on any config related to e5/e4/e3/ene i don't care much about the differences. You want me to have slow switch i'm ok with that, i play regular excessive so i'm used to it. You want me to have the fast weapon switch, hey that's ok you switch all you want while i mg whore you down . Even within FUC the votes would be different so it's hard to get a general idea of what people really want.

The arguements between Bodz and Secret. I see both your points, and both have good/bad ideas.
You don't like to have your post made up into small pieces Bodz, but frankly that's the best way to pick through a post if there should be anything in it worth commented upon. Quoting an entire post by someone just to respond to 1 sentence in that post is not very smart imo, you loose the content as to what you are replying on.
last but not least....
Everyone is entitled to have an opinion, everything can be discussed in a civil/adult way. When one person responds to another it doesn't necesarrely have anything disrespecting aspects to it, just be clear in what you say. Not every post in which someone is quoting you is an attack at you or someone else.
