I am not sure if guid has anything to do with mac adress, you got any specific info about that or only assuming it?

1. no i think teamswitch is not source of that bug since i hace games w/ difference in scores too but w/out changing team (or i dont remember it and it wasn't parsed in vsp also)
2. i bet mac isn't any related w/ guid since i have same name+guid+ip allias from different pc's (and routers). also i hope q3 has no chance even to get my mac address

1. update is done by cron at 6:50am (i guess) 10 mins before restart of server (only q3 i hope not entire server or it would be answer of some lost games around 6:50-7am)
2. even if i had same mix w/ guids as darkangels it shouldnt cause wrong scores inside 1 game. though i have only 1 guid and only 1 ip range (2nd ip entry is from my friend and its only once occuried) and at this ip range only 1 record which is me.

answer to ur looong tiem ago question. its Elo rating (same as in temprank where u r mod as u could remember 
) w/ some modification like weapon weight and teamkills penalties. this was modified by beast is not standart vsp behaviour where it was pretty stupid.

I hope pc doesnt go to reboot - or ofc it couldbe not enough. i hope it just kills q3 process by cron and restarts it.
And yes, after last beast's changes where amount of games hold in db was limited update worked quite fast (<2 mins at my pc that times (athlon x2 4400)

funny thing, i have now same problem as u 
not all frags are recorded...even maps are wrong in my last ''maps''
i changed all cd key and all fine, but now this strange thing, not all frags were recorded, i should have around 80 frags, and i didnt played bluecathedral map it was dm8.

I remember that on aim freeze server stats were parsing very long time due to popularity of it ages ago.
