I'm sorry if this was covered before in the forums - I only came across one posting and someone mentioned about deleting q3config.cfg files.

I'm in the process of setting up a server and finally got it to use my (xp_config) file - but now when I join the server to test the settings I'm getting the message of:

You are banned from this server

I have stopped the server; cleared out the 1 person's IP in the bans.txt file (it's basically empty except for a few comment lines); deleted the q3config.cfg on the server; deleted any q3config.cfg files on my local system; restarted the server and still the same thing.

PunkBuster is not running on the server at the moment.

This seems to be happening to anyone that tries to join the server.

What am I missing here?

Please help!
