I seem to have a strange problem which i suspect is related to ATI cards only.

When i start Q3 is frelling dark, but after just touching the brightness slider in setup it pops back to the normal brightness.

I have tried using the r_gamma but it doesnt seem to help.

So anyone have any bright(ness) idea(Drunk ? Happy

Im running windows btw Shock

not exacly...

ATi uses deferent colors overriding, so when some popup will try to focus on self atantion in bacground, ATi drivers will change brightnes to desktop

it may help disabling popups or eny IM notyfications, and for extample using /bind key "r_gamma 0.1; wait; r_gamma 1.0; wait; r_gamma xxx"
