As we all know idTech3 source is open, so there are many binaries available.
I'm using ioQuake3, what's yours? Big grin

e+ is not open source if you ask about it.
E+ also is not made on ioquake3 engine because ioquake3 is not supporting punkbuster.

Woah, never thought about ioQuake3 and Punkbuster x.xI was actually attracted by some of the benefits listed on their site, stumbled across this while I was looking for a good version of Quake 3 for Ubuntu.

But wait, ioQuake is based on same engine that the original Q3 is. I didn't understand when you meant by that, mods are supposed to be engine independent right?

ioQuake3 have changes in the "platform engine" also (in the server side) and so punkbuster doesn't work anymore.
