Dunno if it is a blog worthy, but well, i saw what others blogged also 
since I started again, to not play only beer-freezer (still my favorite one), i just can say that I started to like the B@N@N@ Server. What is different to plus?
Well, actually it is a rail only server. BUT, not as many are used to, because it has also the BFG and GL for movement (no damage though). It is also quiet interesting, when a plus player meets a rail-only player. The rail only players often play a sneaky style, while the plus players do often rush through the map. It find it often funny, when both worlds do meet and getting surprised by each other 
Since they get killed in situations they are not used to get killed in that .
For me personally it is also important "how a server is admined". From the first time i played on banana server, i recognized, for the admins the oppinion of the players is important. But in E+ are more servers of this category, like Beer, Aim+, Elites. (Sorry, this are the only Servers i play currently public, + now banana).
Since i just can speak about server, i play on, i hope the other owners are not pissed off now
€dit 27.07.2011: I don't like bananas anymore, has something to do with the comprehension skills of the banana-leaders.

I agree. The banana cfg was a good idea, and I enjoy playing there as well. It definitely is helping to brush up on my rail skills.

a few months ago i wrote a post in plusn 2.xx discussion. i wrote "my dream cfg would be railonly with bfg and gl only for movement".
some time later there actually exists a server that has exactly the cfg i wanted.
still the times i played there i didnt really have enemies, maybe this will change with growing popularity.

I also like the config, but some of the knockbacks feel a little bit too high for me. I would prefer them to be closer to plus.

well, to be honest, originally it was Hiszy's admin (warrior) idea of that config, bananas just got a Hiszy-alike cfg, although it has some differences from Hiszy's cfg, e.g. default 'dual-way' spawn protection, not the way it's implemented in Hiszy's cfg (invisibility right after spawn, unfair thing).

To be honest idea was maded 5 years ago in clan CHS (Cant Hit Shit) by Wacky and his wife Karmakazy (my old friends), now there is a several servers with something smilar but all of them have their own dfferences
banana have some addons and differences, rail is like hook, when u shot the freezed body it moves to you (funny I think) , the spawn protection is different and power of bfg and granade are diferent also and some things more also new maps
I think is very good server to train aim rail and speed with bfg and granades
However I will put pure server in this week or so, and punkbuster (i hate cheaters) and hiszy server is full of them 
and will add VSP stats with some help 
, btw thanks fala and skull to help me with detecting cheaters and our new m8 Impius
