usb mouserate

Yo

i setted usb mouserate to 500hz but it shows me in mouseratechecker rates like 2000hz and 4000hz.

anyone knows where the problem comes from?

got win xp and mobo is ga-z68x-ud7b3

playing on
[mouse]: ie 3.0
[mousepad]: corepad eyepad xxl
[keyboard]: Steelseries 6gv2
[headphones]: SteelSeries Siberia v2
[monitor]: Samsung Syncmaster 1000s 21"
