Could someone work up a config that sets the graphics to the minium but performance max? I have two comps and the other one is a bit older and it runs on 20-50fps with high graphic settigns.

rather than take the easy way out, it would be much much better if u tweaked around with ur config. what i would suggest is to copy a q3config.cfg file from ur e+ folder, rename it to something else, and try playing around with the graphics variables. most of them start with r_. some of them with cg_.

just take half an hour and find out what different variables do. for a reference to find out what the variables do, try http://q3console.planetquake.gamespy.com/variables.htm for baseq3 variables and http://www.excessiveplus.net/docs/client.html for variables specific to e+.

imo if ur serious about tweaking ur config, this would be much better than right away using somebody else's gfx config. cos first off different computers can tolerate different settings and still give u 125+ fps. and more important, fps isnt everything, if it fucks up ur aim.

ps: heh i gotta admit tho part of y i havent posted a low gfx config is cos im just too lazy to hunt my old ones up. Happy

I would change r_dynamiclight to 0 and r_subdivisions to 999.

U could also try using GL_NEAREST_MIPMAP_NEAREST texture mode. (r_texturemode).U can also gain some FPS by disabling your weapon shown on screen (cg_drawgun Innocent and setting items like health and armor to 2D instead of 3D.(cg_simpleitems 1).
