ProPlus.cfg

let's keep it cool guys, this started as a good idea, let's not spoil it with futile flames.

Probably this config will be renamed to avoid any confusion/prevent future flames with the existing plus.cfg. Reno said this is a cfg to be made by the community as he does not want to claim ownership of it, so better start thinking about a future name.

yea, and even those people have a right on a own oppinion. I just remember how u reacted when u had a other oppinion as someone else, and someone tryed to do the same with you as you do now.

flex was in no word inpolite.

you know its funny because at exactly the same time i was working on a cfg that takes the fun side of what this mod can be about and uses that as a foundation for the cfg...

contast and compare...

This sounds interesting for the 10 slugs problem, if u make ppl to need items (like rail ammo for example) they will move, so this may avoid an excessive camping, if u have 123124321 slugs u don't need to get more ammo... this also changes gameplay a bit..

to do what you say it takes a balance of weapon regen and available ammo at the start to get the right balance of available/gettable ammo... the balance is all down to the needs/desires of who is to play it... to convince the e+ community to move away from rail, rail, rail is a loosing battle... best to make it reasonable for each weapon... someone who wants to rail let them, but make the weight of the rail heavier than other weapons so his movement is slower... balance instagib advantage with a movement dissadvantage... thats just an example but i hope you see my point.. on my cfg on the server link previously i have made bfg with a bigger damage radius but have made it slower on projectile so that it can be evaded if paying attention.
the difference being is what i created is just to go play and have a fool around, for a cfg to be adopted by the community (what you propose here) is another story that takes time and must be born from a shared need. what is the need?

add running speed increase with gauntlet by giving it a weight of between 0.75-0.9

people might use it as a viable killing option apart from the old camp in corner, at spawn points or after teleports to get gaunt kill

would be handy in those 'short-mid' distances when you don't have the heavy damage weapon ammo.

if you want to make your bfg more 'pro' and away from (imo) gimped plus version look at my config... it has the same movement as e5, but has different damages for accurate shots and splash. you can change the ammo, style, time to live and cycle for your needs.
(ignore mow's rants at me saying i cant do it... cos i did, and the excessive players agreed, yet i didnt get the 200 euros. dont worry i still <3 you mow Tongue)

I like the cfg more than plus. It reminds "newgods.cfg" just without switchspam Happy What i dont like is those bloody hitboxes..its still way to big imo.
