Uh.. these are server-side only commands, Drillzor ;p I think it's a client-side problem..

Phobo - do you have firewall? Something that would obstruct Q3 packet traffic? More info, man.

Im guessing your just experiencing a regular "IP change" made by your provider.Happens to me also, mostly in middle of cw's

Ping On Servers..

Sorry for the lack of info.. I was gone for the past few days.

My connection isn't bad I got high speed connection '' no firewall ! '' and a pretty good computer and the thing happens on usa servers too and I'm from canada and it doesn't happen on all servers all the time.. Like yesterday on DeeX I played for about an hour and it was perfect ping no lag-outs.. I reconnected 1 hour later and it started to lag-out like I said in the first post. This is getting really frustrating. I'm going to try to know if my I.P. changes and get you in touch. If, by chance you have any other ideas please give :scratch:

hmm if it happens only on deexs its probly a server issue. havent played on deexs in a while but that server does have some severe ping spike and packetloss issues.

I think you may have a good point here Wonko because I didn't feel this lag on any other servers except *TC* or 2!S... On (HK) I never lag. I can even play on polish or bangladesh servers whitout any lag. Winking

maybe your isp shapes the connection depending on usage or something.

call their help desk and ask questions about:

any sort of shaping (perhaps at certain times or after some bandwidth is spent)
when is the IP change, if any
any other sort of catch

then report here, and we can search for a solution further Happy

If u have cable connection u can view IP lease times in your LAN status->Support->Details
Dunno if the same procedure applies for ADSL connections.

But maybe u can try this:
Hit Start->Run-> type cmd
Hit enter and type ipconfig /all
On the bottom u should see lease times.
