hello all,

I've made a new CTF map that has some influences from Mkbase, it's been desribed as a Mapel4b crossed with Mkbase. It's bigger than MKbase, but smaller than Mapel.

I tried to pay attention to wallshots and moves and strategy rather than making it look stunning. I've been testing it on my server with some friends and so far everyone loves it. Happy

Thanks for the good vibes guys, and glad you like it Reno!! Big grin Did you like the rain? I added it cos it reminded me of home (UK). There are some nice moves to discover and you get some really nice flag chases in the big tunnel.

hihi yeah the rain is just like london Happy

i think i discovered the "route" to capture the flag in under 8 seconds. just needs a bit of practice. Are you working on any more ctf maps? would be sweet to have a new map pack with 5 or more maps

heya dude,

i can't offer you money, but u seem to have a clue about the needs of a map for e+ of e5.cfg and plus.cfg. Beside Reno wishes more CTF maps from you, i would like to c also some maps (little mappack maybe Laughing For TDM/Freeze/Tourney, especially for e+. For sure, just as much as u r interested based on ur fun and time.

Basically many cpm maps are more or less good for e+, this could be a fundament for a couple of remakes for the needs of e+?

Currently there is also running a e+-project for a mappack for e+, leaded by hk-casablanca, i just dont find the thread currently, maybe u can participate on that, regarding to my wish Happy

just my ideas

heh, lol. mow. the thread is just the one above this one on sticky. anyone interested in providing more maps for the map packs can always post contributions here. http://forums.excessiveplus.net/viewtopic.php?t=22359&start=60

for now, we have two maps for sure : Eplus1 and Eplus2 , any other map has to be in that name format to be included in the mappack and have to have E+ logo in it. otherwise, it is just another q3 map ! Happy

there is also q3radikus from insane kid.

bring more contributions and we ll send it to LVL and voila Happy

hi guys - no need for thanks Happy I enjoy it too so it's all good, but thank you anyway.

Reno and Mow - a pax pack could be the future, but unfortunately time is against me Sad I want to be a better player so that come first, but my missus and a son and work takes time too. The good news is I know how to map quickly, cos I spent a long time doing it back in the days of bq3 and now with more powerful PC's, you dont have to be so strict with your designs.

I dont really know many cpm maps, but i have them all, so i will check them out. If you can give me some names of maps you think are worth looking at, I will check them out for ideas. I will check out the mapping project a bit more too.

Currently I am drowning in work, but as soon as I am free I will have a go at another map.

I never thought to include an E+ logo, but if I end up making a few more maps, and put a pack together, I will rework pax1 to include the logo.
