escaped turkey have just changed their policies on their servers, they are no longer supporting games running the doom 3 engine, this was one source of machine issues they had.. some real upgrade of processors going on there, so they should have top of the line machines pretty damnb soon..

lol. if q3 ran the doom3 engine and they are gonna stop running games on teh doom 3 engine he wouldnt be posting about it now would he? hed be saying we cant use et servers any more wouldnt he?

can we do an upgrade on ur sarcasm gland tyr? and while we're at it maybe get u a new brain? xD

anyways goddam, erm till now i thought the problems we had with et servers was the insane packetloss they gave? how would getting better machines help that? (as opposed to fixing their networking problems maybe?)

the doom3 engine was using up to 50% cpu. even when running idle, was a gobbler of resources.
im not sure when it comes to packet loss, i know that he was running too much on each machine at a certain point, but as far as i know, he has now fixed this. the only thing i can think is the datacentre he is homed in has had some attacks on it. keeping popping in and seeing, if it is better for you all the good if not, plenty of others to get your juices flowing..

and @ tyrant - yeah i know, what i was saying was in responce to joey saying that he hates all other us servers - just letting him know that some might be improved/improving.
it is q4 that runs on the doom 3 engine.
