Hi,
I was just wondering what you guys think about that.

Well, the thing is we are actually playing 1 National Cup per year, which is acceptable, because as everyone knows Football Cups happen once per two years. But! What i think, is that national games gets more people involved in. It's like when someone see that event like this happens, he wants to play for his country. Even some people come back for such tournaments.

So my idea is to make a tournament or league for national teams. Might be TDM, that would be a bit refreshing, because what are we playing at the moment is just freeze tag.

What do u think about it? Would you play it? Would you even care?
I think it would be more interesting than another clanonly plusN freeze cup.

Well, if I vote yes i'd like to see something different ( Clan Arena ) We had 1 rail-only ClanArena event going last year with a bug ( wich is fixed now ) and I would deffinetly setup a national team to participate.

Also to trow in the discussion, because its NATIONAL we can make it mixed pusN / rail-only.

FE: each country plays twice vs eachoher, 1st plusN 2nd rail-only or vica versa and have them play the same maps OR the event organiser determins a selected map pool per round ( 3 maps ) each team picks 1 map to play and the remaining map is also the tie-map.

That is just 1 example of what you could do and if you get enough votes for that your only concern is ( configs / gametypes / map-pool / event type ) and your set.

We could make a autumn/winter national cup, and spring/summer national cup ( holidays excluded Big grin ). Personally I would play ronly, but only if you leave me the joy of moving with bfg and grenades, otherwise my brain falls in claustrophobia due to the rail selected noise wooooweeeooooowwwoooeeeeooo BOOM!! Bad cfg for middle pingers like me, tested.

Some people comes back, no matter if only for that event, because it is already a good thing. Sending a message to all the old players, inactive etc... is so simple and priceless. The important is to try, to invite them, even if they play other games. Sometimes ppl just forget about it, works, come back from holidays, or after solving problems, thinking "nah there will be nobody, or it's too old game".

Here we are in the meantime Tongue!

About TDM, F2 only cuz apollo said F1 Big grin and trickz probably you like TDM too I guess).
Damn lowpingers TDM lovers, F1 if the servers are hosted in Rome Tongue.
Now seriously, TDM looks a bit weird spamming in general, but good cuz you respawn in a while.
Clan arena, I playied only in QL, no thaw Straight face, last standing. I don't know how could it work in e+.

Let's see how things will move. Good point.

You mean SWE, no in all seriousness if it's a activity thing then go for it. Still, I would personally prefer if it was valued slightly higher (i.e., not a yearly tournament).
