Na yes, if you go according to the criterion, "who is in future there". Then the issue concerns also the old farts.
Are they here in future? For sure, the chance is higher, however, not secure. Nevertheless the vote is not representativ.
The vote covers less than 50 % of the active players.
Anyway it doesn't make sense to change something on the votesystem. The vote would be with high probability be NO anyway.
I bet, some people who voted for NO, made in their live absolutly everything absolutly correct. They are without mistakes. They have never done something which could have been regretted afterwards.
That is presumably also the reason that they participated in the discussion so eagerly and full of energy, and represented their points of course very clearly and detailed. That shows an extremely high measure of social behaviour and readiness to help. An medal would be adequate.

But yeah. No doubt some one (like wax) did think it through, and no doubt (in my mind) most voted on the personally most convenient, quick and easy solution with no other factor even considered.
But we have what we have, democracy wins and my view on "true democracy" is unchanged \:D/ Topic closed?

ahh yes we old farts can be stubborn. I did for the record give my co-leader as well as my captains a say in this as well. And they are all young farts. So t would seem some of the younger players who spend countless hours practicing don't want to play against cheats ahhh ohh sorry ex-cheats either.

Why not deciding for each cheater/ex cheater case per case ? There is so few cheaters that play in clans or want to play ranked wars that it would be easyer to judge for every clan if wether or not they give chance / decide sanctions about them.

whining? whining is plaintive crying, and i am far away of that.
Please, just use "valid" words.
Your reaction shows to me, that you do presumably not feel good with the situation. Excuse me please if I am unpleasant to you.
But how i had meanwhile mentioned, it is presumably senseless to adapt the vote, because it would go anyway to a NO. Why i should show u a better way than, if it would result in the same? Therefore there is no reason to respond to me so irritatedly, my friend. I am pretty tyred if someone read just what he want, and not what is written.
The reason is, many do simply not think about what they vote and what will it affect, many see only the own advantage at the first moment. (Not all).
I am also in the real life very social, and help also the socially weaker people. Also people who committed already the one or other crime, but therefore these people are not absolutely bad.
If I reflect that on E+, these people must be put onto a wall, if u know what i mean.
People with a social vein live here dangerously.

also note that, just cause someone doesnt agree with you, doesnt mean he didnt understand your points.
also do note that no voting system is bad, or good. it can only be better than, or worse than, something. but since there is no other system suggested, your posts that it is "not representativ" are ignorant. it is the only system sofar suggested, so it is the only system that is "representativ", as ridiculous as that word sounds in a forum.
and i should probably point out again: read others posts. you keep on claiming the same thing over and over again, so obviously you are not understanding others posts. at least thats what you are trying to claim we all do...
mind you, some do, but not all.

everyone is different and every cheater are differents, it's no discrimiation, it's more about take smarter decisions.
@Mow do not compare e+ community to real life which is completly different because the ppl themself are diffferent and here for different purposes

Representativ is a poll then, when you have the "average" opinion of a community mirrored. That is not the case here unfortunately. But like i told, i dont mind it anymore, because the vote would lead anyway to NO. Ignorant lol.

I adapted my opinion to the given circumstances during the thread, so for example i don't try anymore to influence the poll since i recognized it would lead anyway to a no.
I just respond meanwhile just to your posts which create a wrong picture of me, of a not reading, not understanding person. There is not one post of me who makes that clear wether word wordly nore between the lines.
