So you rather let players not play because they dont have enough players to create a team. Thats pretty unfair for them 
besides if i'd leave your dutch lions and re-activate EU, what then? 
you cant play with only you and big bob so you dont have a team. Understand my point?

it seems strange but i agree with Jeff. This is just a game and the goal should be involve more players as possible, in order to make alive eplus and have some fun together. f1 for the mixed national team.

No i'm all up for activity, but going further with your example, I'd rather create a "Benelux" team, than an "EU" team.

And how exactly is fair to have team with mixed players from all Europe, while other teams will have only players for same region or even same nation? Nation cups always was about getting to play with players from same nation/region. If you want to play with mixed nationalities team go play for clans. Where is like 10x more cups for clans then for national teams and if you cant skip one yearly cup, because you dont have team shame on you, kid.
If you cant get 3 players from your region, you cant play. If you cant get along with other players from your nation, you cant play. Tho, i dont mind to have several teams from same country if where is enough players.

last time there's been a mixed team for all players who were pretty alone in their country and no one complained. regions are a good idea but imo its still ok to have one team for poor guys like mexican dud who would have no chance to participate. imo 1 mixed team should be enough tho "team rest of the world"

Probably ye, but anyway. I think we should wait for autumn with this cup. As i understand now we have 2 tournaments which already started, and after both these ends it will be summer. I doubt at summer where will be lots of players who would want to play.

I want to create the Earth National team who wants to get in? No aliens or robots allowed!
Our tag will be something with Blue and Green. We will play in the interstellar Nations Cup. Its an eliminatory cup (for real).
Expecting players willing to travel thousands of light years away for official games in small amounts of time (no warp-speed-phobics or claustro-phobics allowed).
Trolls not allowed for bad reputation and being targets to alien assassinations. (lacking sense of humor)
According to the Earth Laws aliens or robots are not considered a race => no racism.
