Well to first adress few things:

@ Term: i dont quite get your opinon on ranks of judges. Its nothing big, just that judges that just became so wouldnt be assigned with the finals of the world cup (for example) while judges who were judges for months would.

Now why i suggested it? I love to exist in organized enviroment Since i lack organization myself it helps me out.

It seems this community is quite chaotic, and prefers as little rules.

So a modification of my suggestion:

We create a list of people who are willing to judge matches. Simply people aply themselves.

And if clan leaders expect trouble on CWs they can leave a post in advance and then any of the people can reply that they have time.

Or if something comes up suddenly clan leaders can look through their MSN or ICQ or IRC list and send message to those people. If any is available he/she can jump in and solve the situation.

By being on the list, people simply state that they are willing to spend some time helping CWs run smoothly if needed.

Very loose rules, not needed to be used, but can help those who actualy need them.

so what is your opinion on this?

I am proud of spreading a pirated Excessive Plus version and claim to be the original author, yay!

Sounds better with a nomination list.

its not necessary for every CW to be policed. Perhaps, upcoming CW's can be posted in the Clan Ranking Forum.

If a clan feels it needs a referee, they may call upon whoever elected on the list for that match....

its hapned me not once we w8 for oponets more that 30min, there is huge lack of organisation in some clans

if we wana make it smothy, we need to type atles 15 referees (that will mean he has watch out by 2 days in one month)

ever heard something about timelimit? if a clan comes to late, u have the possibiltiy for forfeit win/lost.

and i am really not willed to give rcon to everybody who call hisself judge.

Yeah dude this is easy and nice idea. Here the efficiency to solve probs without creating others. I'm with you for this

Just make a big list of people who can do the job, applying themself will not give them enough legitimacy

Why is this?

Its best if people just nominate if they are able to referee matches. A simple witness is all but necessary. To Prove Legitimacy is not necessary.

Ok ill edit my last post, in recent discussions with HQ on MSN:

Perhaps only Clan Leaders are able to nominate at own free will to referee matches?

I guess we can't have people like Infected refereeing matches

Great idea ! So, please let me know when is played upcoming CW I will post that as Announcement and with other infos like MOWQ make template. Announcement will stay until match report posted, after that will be deleted.

as mentioned, clan leaders who play ranked wars, usualy announce the wars some time before, do arrangements etc.

all they also now would do if they want a judge (they dont have to get one) is post here on clan ranking something like:

"cw with clan name, time, date. we need a refree for this match, anyone who has time please contact me, or reply here"

if noone replies until then and you dont want to play the match without a refree, reschedule the match.

even if a ranked war hapens spontaneously (it would be odd, though) those people who aplied gave right to others to contact them anytime if they need a refree (for example a war you expected to run smoothly ended in a massive flame war). so you send messages to all refrees and one is bound te reply to you.

anyway people who aply as refrees would also have to post their contact details, preferably IM contact, cause mail is a slow way of contacting.

about who can aply, we can simply let anyone aply, then make a topic for voting. every week or so, the comunity scans the topic and picks names it trusts. or any other method, there are some clan leaders i wouldnt aproach with a 10' stick (like vash?) so being a clan leader doesnt mean the person is ok.

on the other hand, since clans pick whome they want to resolve the situation (you dont have to accept a refree) bad refrees, or those not trusted, will never be called to a CW in the first place, so having anyone on the list shouldnt be a problem.
