for the ones that still have problems with the shoutbox refreshing and the fear of not being able to open too many e+.net tabs .. if you use Mozilla Firefox you might try to enable pipelines http requests (by default its disabled) . I dont know about the other browsers .
How to do that you can find here
i use *.pipeline.maxrequests as 10 only (30 might be too much )
this guy its saying that the web will work much faster .. i dont know about that .. but it worth to try 
if you want to get back to the default valuesjust right-click the modified ones and use the Reset option for each.

When you edit general part of a clan/team it has to be validated by a clanDB mod.
I think I know why it is done but this validation should be disabled.

Nope, it is not gone, any change on db must be applied by a clandb mod, this can take 1 minute, 1 hour, 1 day or a week, depends on online activity of clandb mods. Most clans and changes was applied within 4 hours.
